Industrial-Strength Cleanser Needed

A friend posted this morning about Trump’s blaming of the recent pipe bomb terrorism on the media. She expressed how disgusted she was with his ugly, violent rhetoric, and she said she wished he would die. I admit I’ve agreed with her at times. It would be so nice to not have to look at his ugly, smirking face again, to hear his stupid, demeaning voice on the news every day.

One of her friends scolded her for that viewpoint, about wishing someone was dead because she disagreed with their politics. He went on to show how superior he was by stating that he believes that liberals are a poison that are destroying this county, but he doesn’t wish them dead. Seeing the kind of Trump-loving mentality being expressed there, I didn’t feel like wasting my time trying to express a logical stance, and then have to engage in a useless back-and-forth of idiotic proportions, futilely trying to make him understand it. (I don’t know, maybe I just don’t know enough small words.) So I decided to express it here.

I don’t wish him dead. And that’s not out of any kind of concern or fellow feeling for him. Donald Trump is a bloated blight on the ass of America, and he desperately needs to be lanced. I certainly wouldn’t cry if he died, but that wouldn’t solve anything.

First of all, her wish wasn’t because of a difference of political opinion. It was based on righteous indignation, a desire to see thugs and criminals brought to justice, rather than allowing them to run free, committing further atrocities, as they have for the last couple of years. But as nice as it would be to know that, from this day forward, he was nothing but dust and ashes, that wouldn’t fix the underlying problem. Those who put him in that office and who attend his ridiculous rallies and who believe every moronic lie out of his mouth would make him a martyr, and they would commit further atrocities in his name.

What needs to be done is that someone with the power and authority needs to grow a couple of glands and arrest him. Along with all of his accomplices, Trump needs to be perp-walked out of the White House, in front of the media, tried on every count against him, and sentenced to spend the rest of his miserable life rotting in prison.

Granted, his mindless supporters will, likely, still riot and commit further atrocities in his name. But seeing as how many of them, like their god, are cowards, when they see that his kind of behavior is not being allowed any longer, it could conceivably rein it in a bit.

But the longer it goes on, the more he gets his slimy tentacles deeper into every branch of government, the harder it’s going to be to scrub out all the slime.
